Privacy
What we do with your details.
Short version: we use them to get back to you about your property, and nothing else. We do not sell them, we do not pass them on, and this site sets no cookies and runs no trackers.
Effective date: 23 September 2026
Who this is
JM Landscape LLC, 9465 Chadburn Pl, Montgomery Village, MD 20886. Phone (301) 978-6166, email JMLANDSCAPE14@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you choose to tell us:
- Your name and phone number, which the estimate form asks for.
- Your email address and the town or address of the property, if you fill those in.
- Anything you write in the notes box, or say in an email, a text or a voicemail.
- Which answers you picked in the five questions, so we know what work you need.
That is the whole list. There is no account to create, nothing to log in to, and no payment is ever taken on this site.
How the two forms actually work
The estimate form on the home page does not send anything by itself. When you press Send it over, your own email app opens with the answers already written out, addressed to us. Nothing reaches us until you press send in your email app. That means your message travels the same way any email of yours does, through your email provider and ours, which is Gmail.
The call back form is different. Pressing the button sends your answers to our own web server, which emails them straight to the business mailbox and shows you a thank you page. We keep no database and no copy on the website: the email is the record. The server keeps the ordinary access logs described below, and if the email ever fails to send it writes the request to a file outside the website so your request is not simply lost, and we delete those once we have called you.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and carries no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social media trackers. That is why you have not been asked to accept anything. If we ever add visitor statistics, we will say so on this page first.
Other companies your browser talks to
Loading this page means your browser fetches a few things from elsewhere, and those companies can see your IP address and basic browser information as a result:
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces the site uses.
- jsDelivr serves the small script that smooths the scrolling.
- Our web host keeps the ordinary server logs any website has, such as the pages requested, the time and the IP address.
None of these are set up by us to follow you, and we get no reports from them.
Calls and texts
Giving us your phone number is you asking us to ring you about the work, so that is what we do. We may also send you a text about the job itself, for example to say the crew is on the way or to move a visit after rain. We do not run text marketing campaigns, we do not sign you up to a list, and we do not pass your number to anyone who does. If you would rather we stopped calling or texting, say so and we will stop. Your phone company's normal message and data rates apply to anything you send us.
How we keep it safe
This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the call back form travels encrypted rather than in the clear. From there your request sits in the business email account and on our web host's servers, both behind passwords. We take that seriously, and we are also not going to pretend that any website or mailbox is impossible to break into. If something ever did go wrong with your details, we would tell you rather than hope you did not notice.
How long we keep it
Your message sits in the business mailbox, along with any estimate we send you and the record of the work. If you would rather we delete it, email or call and we will.
Who else sees it
Nobody, unless doing the work means it has to, for example when a supplier delivers stone straight to your address. We do not sell your details and we do not give them to anyone for marketing.
Your say
Email or call us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. It is a small business and a real person answers, so just ask.
Children
This site is meant for people arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle your details changes, this page changes first and the effective date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly start collecting something new and leave this page saying otherwise. The most obvious example would be adding visitor statistics to the site, which would mean rewriting the cookies section above before switching anything on.
